"Somebody's eyes are upon you,
it doesn't matter who you are.
They need to know if what you
seem is who you really are."

Welcome to the website of Kevin Corbett, a tribute to him and his amazing music. Kevin is a self-taught musician that has been singing and playing the guitar since he was 17. He has written hundreds of songs on his own, but unfortunately he has recorded very few of them, so we hope that he will start recording more in the future. With this website everyone can now listen, enjoy, and become inspired by his motivational lyrics and moving music. Feel welcome to make comments and requests for more songs to be added frequently. ABOUT KEVIN CORBETT

Kevin Corbett, an accomplished song writer and performer, has won regional and national songwriting awards including a number one song, "Box of Memories" recorded by country artist Jazy Stroman on the National Independent Top 50 charts in 1993. He has performed on two music videos including theme song "Celebrate Your Dreams" for the 1995 U.S. Alpine Ski Championship opening ceremonies. He has also received radio air play with such titles as "Graduation Night", "Who Saved Who" and "Counting on You". Kevin has recorded two albums: the first "Open Window" released in 1990 and "Who Saved Who" in 1995. Both were released on his own label "KMC Records".

In addition to performing for the "Make-A-Wish Foundation" Kevin performed at the Camy awards held at Weber State University for "Drug Free Youth", and a Regional High School concert tour in 1992.

Kevin Performed on New Skin C.D. for the "Dare to Dream" convention in 1991. He was the Grand prize winner of KUTR regional song writing contest in 1986 and grand prize winner of 1987 and 1988 regional Utah Song Writers Association song writing contest. He performed at nationally known country music show case in Nashville, TN. Kevin also performed on Michael McClean C.D. "One Heart in the Right Place".

He has done numerous performances for radio and T.V. jingles as well as other studio sessions for his own material and other production companies. He wrote, produced, and recorded Wild Waters advertising jingle for television and radio.

True to his desire to perform music with a message, Kevin presented the "Who Saved Who" show at other locations throughout Utah and surrounding states as well as performing and speaking to youth groups in Utah and other parts of the country.

Corbett's lyrics carry philosophies rooted in Christianity and faith, which he considers more important than lyrics that boost ratings on the charts. That's why it hasn't been difficult for him to focus on what his songs could say to people rather than on how many people would buy them. He recently retired as a seminary teacher for various High School's and Jr. High Schools. Kevin is married to Lynette Stowers Corbett and they are the parents of six, which means his music sort of slides up and down his priority list. Still, he has managed to keep one foot in the music business during most of his adult life.
